Individual and Couples Therapy
I would like to help you transform your relationship with yourself and others.
When matched with an experienced and attuned clinician, psychotherapy can help you develop coping strategies, connect with others more deeply, and gain confidence.
Your goals are my goals, and I will adapt treatment to your needs. I provide both short-term, solution-focused psychotherapy and long-term, insight-orientated treatment. My style is direct but compassionate, and laughter is a large part of my work with clients. As your “emotional doctor,” I provide an empathetic ear and apply specialized clinical knowledge to help you achieve an optimal outcome.
Often, I am asked to work with people who have tried general psychotherapy, feel like their therapeutic progress has begun to slow, and are now looking for a sex specialist. Some clients utilize sex therapy in conjunction with general treatment, while others shift to focus exclusively on sex, intimacy, or relationships. I am happy to consult with other therapists throughout treatment.
Couples therapy generally has one of two focus options—either to rebuild or to amicably separate. At times, people who are uncertain about the future of their relationship do not feel ready to commit to therapy. This is when I use short-term, solution-focused stratagies to determine which path to take. Once the path is determined, we are able to take the next steps toward your relationship and personal goals.
Amid your busy week, our sessions can provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to reflect.
